Luxor Amun Rising
"A decent marble shooting game"
Luxor- Amun Rising – a marble shooting games where you have to shot balls to make sequence of three or more same colored balls. Gameplay is pretty simple because there is nothing to do except shooting balls, grab bonuses and power-ups. Bonuses give huge point rewards but the power-ups play a big part in your chance to complete a level. Use these cleverly and you will finish levels in breeze. There are total 14 stages in this game with 85 levels. But most of those levels are repetitive. You will play most of the levels more than once, some four to five times.
This game is really colorful – all the beautifully designed levels and shining objects make this game nice looking. Graphically this game is what it should be. And the Egyptian themed soundtracks perfectly blend with game’s environment. Though there are only 3-4 tracks that play all the time, it was fine for me.
After finishing the whole game, you can play any stage with same profile and also you can select the difficulty each time. One think I should say you cannot change difficulty during your first time playing, so my advice is start with easy or intermediate.
DRIV3R
Fan of Driver series will enjoy this game, for other try this at your own risk
Driver – this name remind me of a great game Driver and with that great experience kept in mind I started to play Driver 3 in short Driv3r. But soon all my expectations gone away and I was thinking how can they release a half-cooked game like this. There wasn’t any competition that time and it’s just a copycat port game (console to PC). Driver 3 posses so many potentials that could make this game a big hit. Main damages are done by its poor missions design and clunky graphics and some technical issues – glitch.
Let’s find out what made this game so hateful. And for this you don’t have to wait long. What about this - every time you start the game you have to select language! And after some enter pressing you will find yourself in game menu. From there you can select missions, change settings and do other common tasks.
There are three game modes in this game – Undercover, Driving games and Free ride. In driving games you can choose between 6 available types of driving games – Quick chase, Quick Getaway, Trail Blazer, Survival, Checkpoint Race and Gate Race. I think I shouldn’t have to tell what free ride mode is. Using this mode you can roam around three cities – Miami, Nice, and Istanbul – last one unlocks after you have access to Istanbul missions in undercover mode. This free mode is kind of similar to GTA.
Pac-Man World Rally
At first I should tell that children was the target of the developer, so if you are a grown up man like me you might find this game little boring and quit playing before even you finish the first Cup. Before jumping into game’s contents I want to tell something about the requirements – that is if your system merely matches with minimum system requirements, it’s possible that you might not get good performance from this game.
When you start playing the game first time- you will see a menu that gives chance to change display, control setting and of course there is a button for start playing the game.
One thing is largely disappointed me that there is no advance display option that you can change to make this game look better and to get better performance. The only thing possible to change here is resolution! And I strongly suggest to check and change the buttons because I found those kind of weird.
Delta Force: Xtreme
In Delta Force Xtreme you will play as a member of bravo team with other two teams alpha and Charlie. There are total 20 single player missions in three different campaigns-Peru, Chad and Novaya Zemlya. Though there is no connection between these campaigns, you can start with the first one because that is the easiest.
When you first click the single player missions you will find campaign name and one mission under each campaign. You have to finish mission to unlock the next one. And you will find all unlocked missions in instant action menu. At the beginning of each mission you will find a map, small briefing and weapon selection option. There are several weapons to choose from, in all mission you will get a knife and pistol automatically, though they are not very useful. For primary weapon you can select from different assault sniper rifle and machine gun. And in accessory section there are only option – C4, mine and rocket launcher. I strongly recommend the default selection of weapons for each mission.
